The National Hockey League was created on November 26, 1917, at the Windsor Hotel in Montreal after the elimination of its forerunning association the NHA which was founded in 1909 in Renfrew, Ontario. The National Hockey League involves 31 hockey teams, seven residing in Canada, and 24 in the United States of America. The most famous hockey league in the world, the National Hockey League is one of the most popular sports in the North Americas. The NHL awards their players the Stanley Cup, which is one of the oldest professional athletic trophies to be awarded in the united states, making the National Hockey League one of the most critical sports in athletic leagues and associations.

He has been holding these records since 1985.

Gordie Howe:
Nicknamed “Mr. Hockey” Howe was a professional hockey player hailing from Canada, and he played over 20 seasons in the National Hockey League and also in the World Hockey Association. He began his career playing for the Detroit Red Wings and has been named the greatest of all times ever since.
